Experience
Trisha Wing is a Senior Physiotherapist at Tewantin Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre, and has been a valued member of the team since 1997.
Trisha graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1981. She worked in hospitals and therapy centres over five years, where she was instrumental in promoting and achieving recognition of hydrotherapy as an accepted and funded form of physiotherapy treatment.
On moving to the Sunshine Coast in 1986, Trisha ran her own private practice in Tewantin for seven years before stepping back to start a family.
Trisha developed a keen interest in the Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health areas of physiotherapy and has continued to expand her knowledge and skills in that area over the last 23 years. Other areas of general physiotherapy of interest include cervical headache, neck pain, knee and shoulder rehabilitation, as well as clinical pilates and functional exercise programs to improve core stability.
She is a member of the Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health, as well as the Musculoskeletal Groups of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Trisha is a caring, compassionate and loyal member of our team and enjoys the camaraderie and socialisation of working in a busy and engaged physiotherapy practice.
